NPS Ranger Margaret Anderson Memorial 01.TIF
A black-tapped badge honors National Park Service Ranger Margaret Anderson during a memorial service at the Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma on January 10, 2010.  Anderson, was slain at Mount Rainier on New Years' Day when she set up a road block to intercept a vehicle, driven by Benjamin Barnes, who failed to stop at a chain-up checkpoint.
